All activities are posted on an easy-to-use app called Wellzesta, where The Vista’s residents browse the extensive calendar of exciting events and classes available, register their attendance, and reserve their spot, making participating in all The Vista has to offer easy and accessible. They can also provide a rating for each event, and their valuable feedback helps Teela Ferriola, A.D.C., Resident Services Coordinator, plan more events and activities that the residents love.
“Wellzesta is an amazing tool that helps keep our community engaged and informed,” said Teela. “At their fingertips, residents can explore upcoming events, browse menus and dinner specials, and connect with their peers through the virtual bulletin board. When information needs to be shared, notifications are sent to all residents through push notifications on their smart device. Some favorite events on the resident calendar include:
- Fitness classes for all mobility levels, including a walking group, chair yoga, and aqua-cize
- Creative activities, such as paint-and-sip classes and arts and crafts
- Scheduled group outings, such as trips to local restaurants, botanical gardens, art galleries, and shopping centers
- Shows at the on-site Performing Arts Center, such as educational lectures and presentations, live music and comedy acts, magic shows, and movie screenings
